UAE businesses charge 5% VAT and file returns with the Federal Tax Authority through the EmaraTax portal, with mandatory VAT registration once taxable supplies pass AED 375,000 and voluntary registration from AED 187,500. Corporate tax applies at 9% on profits above AED 375,000, and payroll runs through the Wage Protection System, where the reset framework under Ministerial Resolution No. 340 of 2026, effective 1 June 2026, requires wages for each Gregorian month to be paid by the first of the following month. We configure Odoo to this regime: the local chart of accounts, 5% VAT tax codes and FTA-ready returns, corporate tax tracking, and WPS-aligned payroll that respects Free Zone and Mainland treatment.
