The same Spain SII / TicketBAI our customers expect, the same minimal-customisation discipline that keeps your team in control of the system after we leave.
Odoo in Spain
What running Odoo here actually involves.
Spanish businesses withhold IRPF from wages and settle it with the AEAT through Modelo 111, filed quarterly by smaller employers and monthly by larger ones, alongside the annual Modelo 190 summary, while social security contributions run to the Tesoreria General de la Seguridad Social via the RED system each month. VAT (IVA) applies at a standard 21%, with reduced rates of 10% and 4%, and firms above 6 million euros in turnover report invoice data to the AEAT in near real time under the SII within four days. We configure Odoo to that regime: the local chart of accounts, IVA tax codes, SII-ready reporting, and IRPF withholding alongside payroll.
B2B e-invoicing is governed by the Crea y Crece law (Law 18/2022) and Royal Decree 238/2026, with the AEAT operating a public invoicing solution alongside private platforms. The mandate is not yet live: the ministerial order takes effect on 1 October 2026, and the obligation then phases in from 1 October 2027 for companies above 8 million euros in turnover and from 1 October 2028 for all other businesses and self-employed professionals. We prepare Odoo for that timeline, and where clients operate in the Basque Country we account for the separate TicketBAI regime run by the provincial tax authorities, with Navarra covered by its own foral anti-fraud system.
Most Spanish businesses we move to Odoo are leaving Sage (Sage 50, Sage 200, ContaPlus) or a3 from Wolters Kluwer, and larger firms often carry SAP Business One or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: accounting-first or heavyweight tools that need bolt-ons once inventory, manufacturing, projects, or multi-company consolidation arrive. We bring sales, operations, and finance into one Odoo system instead of a compliance core surrounded by add-ons.
