Payroll runs on monthly INPS social contributions filed through UniEmens and paid via the F24 form by the 16th, with IRPEF withheld across three brackets in 2026 of 23%, 33%, and 43% after the middle rate was cut. We configure Odoo to that regime: the Italian chart of accounts, IVA tax codes, withholding and contribution handling, and reporting aligned to the Certificazione Unica and the annual Modello 770 reconciliation.

E-invoicing is mandatory and fully live: domestic B2B and B2C invoices must be issued as a FatturaPA XML file and cleared through the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI), the platform run by the Agenzia delle Entrate, a regime in force since 2019 with the last size-based exemptions removed in 2024. Cross-border invoices also flow through SdI using the TD17, TD18, and TD19 document types, which replaced the quarterly Esterometro from July 2022, while healthcare providers report patient expenses through the Sistema Tessera Sanitaria rather than SdI. We configure Odoo to produce and clear these documents through SdI, and note the updated technical specifications (v1.9.1) taking effect on 15 May 2026.
